In a "Special
Meeting" on Wednesday 18th November 2009,
following the proposal to the
National Assembly for Wales, R.C.T council expressed their desire to: |
"establish a full bi-lingual tertiary
provison, replacing sixth forms
and the colleges vocational provisons in each
of the three former districts
with secondary schools as above"
i.e Bryncelynnog Sixth Form
will CLOSE.
Future Sixth Form students (Our Children) will
face
a daily journey to & from the proposed
tertiary college.
BUT WHO'S GOING TO PAY?
Answer: OUR CHILDREN!
They will lose the support a "Sixth Form" envirnoment gives them
What will happen to the sixth form's then? remain empty?
Surely our childrens EDUCATION should come first!!
The nearest one is to be located at the current
Nantgarw site of Coleg Morgannwg near Treforest.
Planning permission has already been granted.
